As a WMATA Riders' Advisory Council Member my goal, is to use this BLOG as an opportunity to share with Metro Riders my observations and sharable information. I also hope to generate a forum for YOU to bring me ideas and solutions to help us all to improve the services of WMATA. My intent is that through collaboration, our shared need for reliable and safe transportation in and around Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland we can help Metro to meet the demands of YOU its customer base.

DDOT Citywide Bus Shelter Meeting

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will hold a final citywide bus shelter meeting to obtain community input on the implementation of the ClearChannel Adshel (Adshel) bus shelter agreement signed by Mayor Anthony A. Williams in September 2005.

This meeting will allow those who were unable to attend the evening ward meetings to share their views and suggestions regarding the new bus shelters.
